Model of the cat's heart and lungs incl. heartworm and the consequences

This practical and educational model shows an open cat heart, parts of the cat's lungs and a single heartworm (the tropical heartworm called Dirofilaria immitis ).

The model measures 9.5 x 7 x 6 cm and weighs 0.4 kg. It is delivered on a white stand.

Since the heart is "open" and only parts of the lungs are visible, the heartworm, the right ventricle of the heart, the large pulmonary artery, arteries in the lungs and pathological changes in the lung tissue due to irritation caused by the heartworm can be seen.
