Practical model of the pelvic floor in fabric aimed at demonstrating the expansion of the vagina at birth

This model is a practical birth model of the pelvic floor, which has been developed for use in combination with a model of the female pelvis and a fetal dummy. Read more about this below (and see the pictures on the left). The model is mainly bought by midwives and midwifery students.

The model is hand-sewn in Germany. The material is flexible fabric that can mimic the expansion of the vagina during childbirth. When the model is pulled around a pelvis model, it is fixed using strong elastics (see the pictures on the left). All stitching is robust and therefore the model is very durable.

NB: Neither a fetal doll nor a pelvis as shown in the pictures on the left is included.

This model is ideal for demonstrating and understanding births. If used with a model of the female pelvis, the expansion of the vagina can be demonstrated illustratively. If you use a fetal doll at the same time, several different conditions such as positions (head back position, breech birth etc.) can be demonstrated.

We sell a fetal doll with placenta (placenta) and umbilical cord (as well as chorion and amnion) for targeted birth preparation. We also sell cymbal models in hard plastic material as well as fabric and foam rubber. Several of our customers choose these combinations for birth preparation and birth demonstration.
