Skin model for practicing suturing

This skin model is perfect for teaching and practicing suturing. The skin block is 15x13 cm and thus makes it practical and easy to let individual students practice at the same time. The design of the skin has taken place in collaboration with Dr. Sarah Koenig, Associate Professor, Surgical Skills Laboratory, Department of General and Visceral Surgery, Göttingen University Hospital in Germany.

The skin consists of a material that has been specially produced to make complex suturing methods such as flap and dog turn more realistic. The skin simultaneously shows an upper layer and a lower layer, which makes it possible to make safe intra-dermal suturing.

The skin comes with a holder that can retain the skin and be fixed to a surface via suction cups.
