Collection: Foot models

Anatomical foot models and anatomical foot skeletons include foot anatomy and ankle anatomy. Anatomical foot models are used in a wide range of areas, such as rehabilitation, treatment and care. The foot contains many bones, ligaments, nerves and vessels and therefore foot models are often necessary in order to understand what the anatomy of the foot looks like. Anatomical foot skeletons are often required as part of the training for e.g. podiatrist. Foot skeletons provide a three-dimensional understanding of how the many bones in the foot are composed and thereby also a better understanding of how movement, injuries and changes in the foot occur.

Our selection of foot models includes both foot skeletons and complete foot models with and without disorders. Therefore, you will find both foot models with a focus on the bones of the foot such as the talus (roller bone), calcaneus (heel bone), os naviculare (boat bone), os cuboideum (cuboid bone) and sesamoid bones as well as foot models with a focus on e.g. the flexor muscles, extensor muscles, toes, forefoot, hindfoot , metatarsal and ankle.

Among the foot models that only show bones, you will find flexible models that can be used to demonstrate the movements of the foot's joints. These movements are, among other things, plantarflexion-dorsiflexion and inversion-eversion. One of the foot models is held together by discrete magnets and can therefore be completely disassembled into many parts.

Among the foot models that show more tissue than just bones, you will find models that show the ligaments of the foot and complete foot models that also show blood vessels, nerves and muscles. These foot models provide the opportunity to study specific muscles such as the tibialis anterior, tibialis posterior and the peroneus muscles, some of which are removable. There are also foot models with disorders such as hallux valgus (big toe bunion), heel spurs (plantar fasciitis), flat feet and club feet. Furthermore, we offer an advanced foot model targeted at the mechanics of the movements of the ankle joint.
