Classic and flexible hip model with ligaments

Anatomically, the model shows the iliac bone, ischium, pubic bone and the femoral head with the femoral neck and part of the femur. Wha. rubber, the model also shows the ligaments that belong to the hip joint.

In terms of movement, the joint model is flexible, but the mobility of the joint is limited. Therefore, one can only demonstrate the various movements in the hip joint, such as abduction and rotation, with caution. If you jerk the joint strongly, the rubber ligaments can break.

Clinically speaking, the model is ideal for understanding hip fractures and external sprains. It can possibly also be used to understand disorders such as internal sprains.
