The horse's front leg in plastic with hoof, ligaments, blood vessels and nerves. Can be separated into 7 parts
This model of a horse's foreleg was developed with the help of Prof. Helmut Waibl and Dr. Elisabeth Engelke, Department of Anatomy, Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover. It is produced in
SOMSO plastic by the manufacturer SOMSO, which is world-renowned for very high quality.
This means quality materials, a sense of accuracy and longevity.
In other words: World-class craftsmanship.
The model is developed in natural size. It measures 26 x 18 x 30 cm (L x W x H) and weighs 1.57 kg.
It can be separated into 7 parts (see the pictures on the left).
It is delivered on a stand with a green plate at the bottom.
When the model is separated, several of the anatomical structures can be seen in the 3 dimensions. In addition to, for example, adhesions of ligaments and the course of nerves, the hoof can also be separated. This gives a better opportunity to see the hoof and understanding of conditions such as the importance of avoiding mistakes when trimming, the possibility of expansion of the hoof after shoeing and the risk of disease in it.
