Anatomical features
Anatomical features
Anatomically speaking, the model covers virtually all of the body's macroscopic structures. In relation to the unusual size, the level of detail is good, while the smallest details are omitted.
In this context, the smallest details are, for example, menisci in the knee, depressions and knots in bone tissue and the ligaments of the shoulder. However, these details can be seen on our smaller and more specific models elsewhere on the website.
The following parts can be removed:
The top of the skull
The 6-part brain
An eyeball with nerves and muscles
The 2-part larynx with i.a. trachea and hyoid bone
Both arms
Chest and abdominal wall (in one piece)
The 2 lungs
The 2-part heart
The middle floor
The 2-part stomach
The liver with the gallbladder
One kidney
The large intestine and a large part of the small intestine
Bladder (about half)
The 2-part penis
10 skeletal muscles
NB: The YouTube video below shows an overview of the model and the removable parts.
