Nose and throat model

Anatomically, the model shows a sagittal section of the head and neck. The model shows the oral cavity, the nasal cavity, the muscles in the throat (pharynx), the epiglottis, the throat (larynx) and part of the windpipe (trachea). Furthermore, it can be seen i.a. the salivary glands.

In the nasal cavity you can see the 3 concha bones (concha nasalis superior, media and inferior).

The 4 sinuses appear as follows:

The sinus frontalis (forehead cavity) is seen in the sagittal section
The sphenoid sinus (sphenoid sinus) is also seen in the sagittal section
Maxillary sinus (jaw cavity)
Sinus ethmoidalis
