Flexible elbow model with many muscles which can be removed

Anatomically, the model shows part of the upper arm bone (humerus), the entire coil bone (radius) and the entire elbow bone (ulna). The model also shows cartilage-covered joint surfaces in light blue.



Furthermore, the model includes all muscles belonging to the upper and lower arm as well as the ligaments (ligaments) of the elbow joint. Some of the muscles are directly represented on the model - the remaining muscles are illustrated using red and blue color on the bones, which indicate their origin and attachment.

In terms of movement, the joint model is flexible and can be separated into several parts. The muscles that are directly represented on the model can thus be detached individually, after which the elbow joint can be moved freely to demonstrate movements such as flexion.

Clinically speaking, this model is ideal for understanding tennis and golfer's elbow as well as other muscular disorders and issues.

The model can of course also be used to understand many other disorders such as fractures, dislocations, sprains and osteoarthritis.
