Are you the person looking for a detailed hand model where nothing is missing? A hand model that visualizes virtually all anatomical structures from bones to skin? Here you see the hand model made for people like you.

The hand model is produced in the natural size of the hand. It can be separated into 7 parts, which are held together via magnets. It comes on a beautiful and removable stand made of lacquered oak with rounded edges (see pictures on the left).

Anatomical features

Anatomically, the model contains, among other things, these important anatomical structures:

Superficially: aponeurosis palmaris (fascia palmaris) including m. palmaris brevis, lig. metacarpalis transversus superficialis and the tendon to m. palmaris longus

Dorsally: the extensor tendons, the extensor retinaculum, connexions intertendinosas, etc.

The flexor tendons for the fingers which run through the carpal tunnel (canalis carpi), ulnar nerve, median nerve and the tendon junction (chiasma tendinum)

Thenar (with m. abductor pollicis brevis, m. flexor pollicis brevis, m. opponens pollicis and m. adductor pollicis in depth)

Hypothenar (with m. abductor digiti minimi, m. flexor digiti minimi brevis and in depth m. opponens digiti minimi)

Mm. lumbricales and etc. interosseii

Arcus palmaris superficialis, arcus palmaris profundus and aa. digitales palmares communes

The bones of the fingers, ligaments, nerves, skin of the 2nd finger and more

Product flexibility

In terms of movement, the hand model is not flexible, and therefore cannot be used to demonstrate the different movements of the hand.

Clinical features

Clinically speaking, this model is ideal for understanding disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), wrist tendinitis, trigger finger/digitus saltans and Dupuytren's contracture (driver's fingers).

Furthermore, it can also be used to understand luxation (joint slip), ligament injury, bone fracture and more.
