This complete torso model is made life-size and includes many muscles, a highly detailed brain, a view of the bones and nerves of the back, and interchangeable genitalia.

The model measures 87 cm in height and weighs 11 kg. 30 parts can be removed and it is delivered on a white stand (plastic plate).

Anatomically speaking

Anatomically, the model shows the head, the entire torso, muscles, shoulders and the beginning of the thighs. As something special, this model also offers interchangeable genitals with many details. From the head and torso, the following 30 parts can be taken (mentioned from top to bottom):

The whole head
Left hemisphere with left part of cerebellum and brainstem. Can be divided into 4 pieces
Left eye with eye muscles and optic nerve
M. deltoid
The heart, which can also be divided into 2
Half of each lung
Anterior chest wall and abdominal wall consisting of bones, muscles and navel (in one piece)
The right female breast with duct systems and nipple
The stomach, which can also be divided into 2
The liver and gallbladder (in one piece)
The pancreas, duodenum and much of the colon (all in one piece)
The remaining part of the small intestine
Upper part of the large intestine (colon transversum)
A "flap" of the intestinal wall at the caecum can be lifted off so that the lumen is seen
Approx. half of the right kidney saw i.a. pith and bark are seen
M. gluteus maximus
The female genitalia incl. rectum and urinary bladder - can be divided transversely
A fetus that can lie in the womb
The male genitalia incl. rectum and urinary bladder - can be divided transversely. Furthermore, the penis can be removed from here and also split across (i.e. 4 pieces in total)
7th thoracic vertebra

The remaining part of the model (listed from top to bottom) shows primarily the base of the skull (left side), an outline of the opposite side of the brain, the left part of the mouth and nasal cavity which is open, the throat with the throat, the thyroid gland, large blood vessels and muscles as well as the right shoulder with muscles.

The remaining parts of the lungs, trachea, main bronchi, esophagus and diaphragm are seen in the chest cavity. In the abdominal cavity you can see muscles, the spleen, larger arteries & veins, kidneys, adrenal glands and ureters. Furthermore, hints of the iliac crest, the front of a lumbar vertebra and the sacrum are seen, as well as several muscles in the same region.

In a small area on the front of the left thigh, blood and lymph vessels appear. On the opposite side, many muscles can be seen around the beginning of the thigh and hip. Furthermore, the exposed back with vertebrae, nerves, blood vessels and both deep and superficial musculature from the upper neck joint to the sacrum/coccyx can be seen.

A great many anatomical partial waists are seen, and these examples can be highlighted:

The left hemisphere with the left part of the cerebellum and the brainstem is seen in great detail, because it can all be divided into 4 pieces
The many skeletal muscles
The unique possibility to insert female or male genitalia with many details (incl. rectum and urinary bladder)
The unique opportunity to see the different tissues of the back from the spinal cord to the skin

Clinically speaking

Clinically speaking, the model can be used to understand disorders that are related to the model's many tissues.
