This very special heart model is magnified a good 3-4 times and shows a fetal heart, which developmentally corresponds to the last weeks of pregnancy.


It is produced in SOMSO plastic by the manufacturer SOMSO, which is world-renowned for very high quality. It weighs 1.1 kg and can be separated into 3 parts. The dimensions are 18 x 18 x 34 cm

(length x width x height) and is delivered on a stand with a green base.

Anatomical features

Anatomically speaking, you are presented with chambers, heart valves and larger vessels that carry blood to and from the heart. Furthermore, the blood circulation through the chambers is shown in a particularly educational way

(see the pictures on the left). The heart's impulse conduction system is not seen.

Product flexibility

Clinical features

Clinically speaking, the model does not show anything pathological (disease-wise), but it is ideal for elucidating congenital heart defects such as persistent ductus arteriosus (DAP), atrial septal defect (ASD) and ventricular septal defect (VSD).
